I read an interesting book recently that lent some perspective on romantic relationships between men and women. It said that women tend to base the worth of a relationship on the amount of sacrafice from the man, while men judge the value by appraising how useful they feel to the woman. While we could probably write pages about how that may or may not apply here, I think it sounds like he's tring to decide if/what to sacrafice. From the sound of his schedule it might take a while before he's ready. Well, that's my $.02.*
